Aries in western culture
The most well known myth associated with Aries is the Greek myth where Aries is regarded as a golden ram who rescued the twin children of a king and then was sacrificed by one of the children to thank Zeus for being rescued. Later the Ram's fleece is also recognized and told in the story of Jason and the Argonauts
